We have a source for a slightly modified version of the Pierre Nicolle style show cages! A few of our members have bought some and the quality of the cages as well as the box has been very satisfactory.

The cages use a door that swings open instead of the typical door that slides up on the Nicolle cages. The swinging door actually gives easier access to the birds and eliminates the chance of getting scratched by those sharp wires that are exposed when the door is open on the Nicolle cages. The openings for the seed and water cups are circular instead of square, and all around the cage there are no welds, including the top cross piece which is made out of wood. Note that these cages are NOT collapsible, however they are much more robust as a result of that.

The box is well made, the doors use good quality hinges, and the latches on the top and bottom (see photos) are very easy to open and close and keep the doors tight when closed. There are 4 feet on the bottom that make stacking the box on top of other boxes easy. The handle on the box is comfortable and feels very solid.

The cages are sold without seed and water cups, so you will need to purchase those separately in the show cages section here.
